They'll be performing live as Time Lord David Tennant switches on the lights. Come down to the Radio 2 Arena. McFly are also at Northsound FM's FREE event in Aberdeen's Hazlehead Park this Sunday. Each artist contributing to the album had to choose a song from a given year in the last 40. McFly were handed 1982 and chose to cover The Jam classic Town Called Malice. It’s a quality song and McFly give it the big licks - hear it first on Chris Moyles Radio 1 show on September 25th. Other artists who have recorded tracks for the album include Razorlight, Amy Winehouse, Paulo Nutini, Sugababes, Kylie, and Robbie Williams. McFly have been nominated for two awards - Best Band and Best Male Singer (Danny Jones) - for the first ever UK Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. You can get voting online at http://www.nick.co.uk/kca. The boys are also going to host the show on Saturday, October 20th at the ExCel centre in London, following the footsteps of Justin Timberlake (being most recent) and such who have hosted the US Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in the past. Voting closes on Sunday, September 30th. So we better get voting if we want the boys to be the first to win in these categories. Edit @ 5:14PM: Now for the fan fics update... you can check out a new interactive fan fiction called Fame. The idea was sent in by Stac, but I wrote it up for her. There will be more chapters to follow this, so let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
