McFly aren't up to much at the moment, except relaxing on the beach in Barbados on a well-deserved holiday, which they really needed. Anyhow, there's a new fan fiction update: chapter 5 of Being the New Kid Isn't So Bad and chapter 5 of Friends Forever. Enjoy reading and please leave a comment. They have all been added to the American iTunes, which means no import prices. Now all of you American McFly fans can purchase their albums without the big, expensive prices, all while supporting the boys one hundred percent. So, hopefully you guys aren't too bored today. If you are, I have a fan fiction update for you. Check out chapter 11 of Love, Sweat and Cheers; chapter 3 of You're the One That I Want and Left, Outside Alone. A new regular fic has been added called Road Trip, which was written by Holly. A new interactive fic as well by Charlie called Umbrella. Definitely check out all those and leave your comments. But he also told us that McFly is going on holiday for a week and then will return to writing more songs for the new album. Tom and Danny attended the London premiere of Live Free or Die Hard on Wednesday. Thanks to McFly.com.br for the pictures. You can now script your own interactive fan fictions. I have provided the codes for you guys, so head over to the fan fic section. Don't forget to comment. And last but not least, McFly will be on UK series Doctor Who tomorrow on BBC1 at 7:15pm. No official confirmation, but I'd definitely watch it just in case. Playing an eclectic mix of tracks they whipped through their singles ‘Five Colours’, ‘That Girl’, ‘Obviously’ and ‘It's All About You’ before launching into their crowd pleasing cover of Queen's ‘Don't Stop Me Now’. Before I get on with today's updates, I want to tell you guys about the rule change of the fan fictions. I changed them not too long ago, as you know, and there's a few fics on the site already that don't quite follow the rules. I want you to know that it doesn't matter. They're already on the site so they don't have to apply to the new rules. I don't feel it's necessary to remove those fan fictions just because I decided to change the rules. They only apply for those that are sent in from now on, so don't worry. Okay. Now for the updates: chapter 2 of the interactive fan fiction The Ex-Girlfriend has been added. Today, Tom made a myspace bulletin about the tour edition of Motion in the Ocean (which you should buy, the DVD is awesome!), but he mentioned that McFly are busy writing new songs for their 4th studio album.
